S'more Fun Learning God's Word Book
Bible quizzing is a great way to get kids into the Word and to have fun while learning. The goal with bible quizzing is to teach kids the word so they can grow spiritually and go out and be disciples in the world and bible quizzing will do just that. This 252 page book was created to help coaches, parents, and quizzers use fun and engaging activities during their practice time and with their independent study time at home. These activities will enhance your practices and make independent study time at home more meaningful. In this book you will find charts, checklists, activities and games. Every template and activity is universal so it can be used with every chapter that you will be studying. The charts and checklists can be used to track memory verses and specialty questions. There are activity ideas to do at home to help with learning verses and specialty questions. Goal setting pages are available for individual and teams goals. You will find a newsletter, calendar, journal, and a bible bingo activity. You will find numerous games such as spinner games, Fishers of Men, premade paper dice activity, Discover God’s Word, card games, plastic egg game, multiple choice and matching template pages, key word bingo with calling cards, key word-word search, tic-tac-toe board with game idea, clothes pin activity, ping pong toss and a Take Up The Cross game. There are 3 board game mats (The Cross, Pyramid, and Hiding God’s Word in Our Hearts). All of the games can be used for all age groups. These activities are great to use with whole group, small group, and individually. They can also be used to set up stations during your practice time so you can work one-on-one with quizzers while the others are still actively engaged during your practice. This book is great for any Sunday School curriculum to play games or to use for bible trivia.

Bingo
This can be used to help quizzers and parents find ways to study at home by using a variety of methods to learn their verses and to retain the information they have learned.
Tips:
•Encourage quizzers to try and get one bingo each week. You can use this as an incentive for a weekly or monthly prize.
•Included is a blank template so you can customize your own bingo card.
Key Word Bingo
Print out the blank bingo cards and blank calling cards on card stock. Write in key words from whatever chapter you are working on onto the calling cards. Cut out the calling cards and put into a container to draw from. Provide the quizzers with the list of words you will be calling. They will use the words to create their own bingo cards. Remind them not to write them in order. They can use the bingo stamp to mark their card if playing only one time. If not, use beans or candy to cover their card. They fill out their own bingo card with the words from the word choice list. Key words from Acts Chapter 1 are used as a sample in ESV version. Included is a sample and a blank template to use to make your own calling cards.

Memory Verse Chart
The charts have been created to help keep track of the verses that the quizzers have been assigned to learn.
Tips:
•Highlight the references at the top of the chart if there are certain verses that quizzers need to concentrate on first.
•Print off the number of pages that are needed.
•Taping the pages together to make into a big chart to hang on the wall makes for a quick visual of what the quizzers know and what they still need to focus on.
•Tape the pages together, then laminate the pages.
•The pages can also be placed into sheet protectors and you can use stickers or a permanent marker to mark the chart on the sheet protector.
Memory Verse Tracking
The cross page can be used to keep in each quizzers folder or binder. Quizzers can keep track of what verses they still need to learn.
Tips:
•Quizzers can color, highlight, or put a sticker on the verse once they have learned it.
•It can also be used to highlight a group of verses that will be learned each week. For example, week 1 verses are one color, week 2 another color, etc.
•Highlight the quizzer’s specialty verses if they only need to learn certain verses.
•A sample of the color coding of verses are included.
•There are 2 templates available, one with 40 crosses and one with 48 crosses.

 Memory Verse Study Ideas
The following pages can be used to help parents find ways to help their child memorize their scripture. The activities provide a variety of methods to learn their verses.
Tips:
•There are points on each activity to use as an incentive for a weekly and/or monthly prize.
•Included is a blank template so you can customize it to fit your need.

Memory Verse Game

To assemble the spinner, use a brad to push through the middle of the spinner. Push it through the spinner to create a hole and then get a paper clip and place on the paper then push the brad through the paper clip and then through the paper and fasten on the back of the paper. If you do not have a brad you can take a paper clip and a pencil. Lay the paper clip on the paper and then put the pencil through the paper clip, so the lead is touching the paper. While holding the pencl, flip the paper clip. It will spin around the lead of the pencil. The shape in which they landed, they will cover on their mat. There are game pieces to use to cover up their mat. There is a page that can be used for black and white if you do not want to use color ink. To Play: Have a list of finish type questions to use for the game. Player 1 will be given a verse to complete. If player 1 answers correctly, the player will spin and put their marker on their mat. Player 2 will then do then do the same. Play goes back and forth until the first player has all the pictures covered on their mat.
Variation to the game: Quizzers can play a game called “Bump”. This will be played with 2 quizzers only. Print off the fourth page of markers. Player 1 will spin if they answer their question correctly they will spin and will put their color marker on the mat. Player 2 will spin if they answer their question correctly they will spin and will put their color marker on the mat. If player 1 is already on that spot they get to bump them off and place their marker on that spot. Play continues until one player has all the pictures covered with their markers.

The Tomb
This game is designed for reference/quote questions.*Note, you will need a poster and brads for this activity.Print off pages onto card stock. Cut out the tombs and rock. To assemble:
1.copy and cut out the number of tombs and rocks you will
need for reference and or quotes for the chapter
2. Glue the tombs to the poster.
3. You will then need brads for each tomb. You will attach the rock to the tomb using a brad.
4. On the front of the rock write the reference and on the
entrance to the tomb, write the first 3 words to the verse.
You can do it vice versa. Write the first 3 words to the verse on the rock and then write the reference on the entrance to the tomb.
Variation to the game: You can put points behind each rock and after they answer a question they pick a tomb and move the stone to see how many points they get.
You can use this as a review activity or assemble this and send home for a quizzer to use for their assignment. If you decide to make this a game, use the score card at the beginning of the game section in this book.

You will then write the beginning of the verse on the blank side. Using the same verse, you will write the ending of the verse. A suggestion would be to use twenty-four cards, which would be twelve verses.
To Play: Place the cards face down. Player 1 chooses 2 cards. If the two put together make a verse, then they keep the match and continue on until they do not have a match.
